Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Edward Albert Sharpey-Schafer, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 23 February 1897 |
Description | Harrison thinks the purpose of the enclosed form of card [not attached] has never been pointed out to Schafer. It is intended to report actions taken by the Secretaries, to the Chairman, and to obtain from them further instructions, in the case of the '[Philosophical] Transactions' papers, as to provisional reference under Standing Order 41, in anticipation of the formal appointment of the referees by the Committee. If, therefore, Schafer is inclined to obtain the opinion of anyone upon Dr Risien Russell's paper, and will let Harrison know, Harrison will, with the Senior Secretary's concurrence, send the paper out at once. |
