TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Signor Professor Dr Gennaro Scognamiglio, Vico Storto Purgatorio, 9, Naples, Italy
Date24 December 1896
DescriptionHarrison states that he has received Scognamiglio's letter of 1 October to "Prof. T.H. Huxley, Presid. du Royal College of Science", and explains that Huxley has been dead for over a year, and he presumes that the letter was intended for the President of the Royal Society. With regard to his hope to be elected a Foreign Member of the Royal Society, Harrison explains that numbers are very limited, and there are no 'corresponding members'.

He supposes the enclosed pamphlets were a gift to the Society, and therefore sends thanks for them.
