TitleCopy letter from Theodore E James, to Charles Edward Groves, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date28 November 1898
DescriptionHarrison has given James Groves' letter referring to next Wednesday's dinner, with Groves' wish to sit next to Professor McLeod. Explains that is has hitherto been the Society's practice not to issue cards unless remittance accompanied the request but it is possible that this circular of information was not sent to Groves. Thinks the best plan is for Groves to receive the card of St Andrew's Day if he is attending the afternoon meeting. Otherwise it will be taken to the Metropole to await Groves' arrival.
