TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to the Editor of the "Astronomical Nachrichten"
Date6 January 1899
DescriptionReferring to the subject of Harrison's letter, the exchange of the Royal Society's "Philosophical Transactions" with the "Astronomische Nachrichten", Harrison has received a letter from the Director of the Royal Observatory at Kiel containing a protest against the transferance from the Observatory of the publications previously sent there. They are concerned that the material will not be accessible to the astronomers and students in Kiel if the transfer goes ahead.

In view of this complaint, wants the assurance of the Editor that the publications will be accessible to students and others, just as the "Astronomische Nachrichten" is accessible in the Royal Society Library, if the publications are directed as requested to the office of the "Nachrichten".
