TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor John Perry, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date8 January 1900
DescriptionProfessor [Arthur William] Rucker has requested Harrison to ask Perry to give his opinion regarding the enclosed communication received from Mr Fergusson of Vancouver. The stereotyped official reply to such a communication would be to say that the Society can only receive papers communicated by a Fellow and to return the paper, but having regard to the distance at which the writer lives, Rucker wishes to satisfy himself whether the communication is one which ought, if opportunity offered, to be made to the Society.
