DescriptionThe Council had before them at their last meeting the enclosed application from Lieutenant Colonel Cunningham, on the part of the British Association Mathematical Tables Committee, for a grant of £60 in aid of the publication of the 'New canon Arithmeticus'. The Council wish to have the opinion of the Mathematics Sectional Committee on the merits of the application and ask if Forsyth can obtain the views of the members of his Committee and report them before the next meeting of Council, 15th February.
