TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir Joseph Norman Lockyer, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date10 July 1900
DescriptionIs directed by the President and Council to inform Lockyer that they have considered Lockyer's letter of 28 March but are not prepared to depart from their former decision that the paper by Lockyer, Captain Chisholm, and Professor Pedler should not be published in the '[Philosophical] Transactions [of the Royal Society]', except in company with an account of the other work done by Lockyer at Viziadrug.

The question of publication in the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' was discussed, but in view of the long abstract which has already appeared, this course was not thought desirable.
