Description | In reply to Browne's letter of the previous day, the paper in the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]', volume iii, page 767 is headed 'Additional Answers to the Queries of Mines. --What the Worthy and Learned Mr. Joseph Ganvil intimated in his Answers to the Queries concerning Mines published Numb. 28, p. 525,' & c. At page 525 of volume ii are some brief answers to queries upon mining matters. The paper at page 767 is nearly five octavo pages in length.
Regrets that owing to the rarity and value of the volumes he is unable to send them to Newcastle but Browne is at liberty to send anyone to the Society to copy the papers. |
