TitleCopy letter from Arthur William Rucker, to Professor Jagadis Chunder Bose, 33 Powis Square, W.
Date20 December 1900
DescriptionBose's two papers communicated for the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]': 'On the Continuity of Effect of Electric Radiation and Light on Matter and on the Molecular Strain Theory of Photographic Actions', and 'On the Similarities between the Radiation and Mechanical Strains', have been under the consideration of a Committee of the Society. Both papers are longer than customary without special reason and the Committee think the papers should not occupy more than 12 pages of the 'Proceedings'. Asks if Bose is prepared to condense both papers. The papers in their original form will be preserved in the archives of the Society.
