TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Gosta Mittag-Leffler, Foreign Member, Royal Society
Date13 July 1900
DescriptionWith reference to Mittag-Leffler's recent enquiry regarding the price of the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]', Harrison sends a list of the prices of 'Transactions' remaining in print, beginning in 1801 [not enclosed]. Thinks any volumes before that date would have to be secured through a second-hand bookseller, but copies seldom come into the market. Mittag-Leffler could purchase the parts on the list at one-third of the published price. Messrs Dulau & Company, 37 Soho Square, advertise a set of 'Transactions' from 1824 to 1893 inclusive for £85.
