DescriptionRegarding their previous letter enquiring about some instruments used by Mason and Dixon in their work in America in 1767, the Royal Society does not have them in its possession. Harrison cannot trace them but has forwarded his letter on to the Astronomer Royal in case there may be a trace of them at Greenwich.
