TitleCopy letter from A H White, to Dr Lindsay Johnson
Date18 June 1901
DescriptionIt appears Harrison [& Sons] have copies of all the 26 coloured plates, but Plate Three is half blank, wanting Hapale penicillata, as is Plate Eight, wanting Cynictis penicillata. Presumably these are the two that Robinsons report as overlooked.

Asks if Johnson was aware that the copies sent round contain the coloured subjects simply mounted on the paper. Harrisons say they have received numbers varying from 100 to 1001 copies of the coloured plates to be delivered, and point out that is will be impossible for them to get the 1000 copies out unless they have the usual surplus plates to allow for spoilage. No doubt Robinsons would supply these.
