Description | Observes from the general account passbook under 3 October that the Messrs have made a credit entry of 'Treasury' £2500 and a debit entry for the Government Grant at £2000. These sums refer to those mentioned in Harrison's letter of 29 September, in which the Messrs were requested to credit the general account with £500 only. Harrison regrets this plain instruction has not been carried out, since the Government Grant of £4000 of which the Messrs debited a moiety, has nothing whatever to do with the Society's General Account.
Returns the pass book and provides details that should be entered before it is returned. |
