DescriptionWith reference to the Secretary's letter of 22 December, S.31241/02, the Seismological Committee appointed by the Council of the Royal Society has been consulted with regard to the selection of suitable representatives to attend the proposed International Seismological Congress, and are unanimous in recommending Professor George Howard Darwin FRS and Professor John Milne FRS, as representatives of the United Kingdom for this purpose.
