TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir William Huggins, President of the Royal Society
Date29 July 1903
DescriptionThanks Huggins for his note of 27 July received today, and is acting upon it. Will have the number of 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' which is ready to come out published. In the next number Sir M Foster proposes that they should include Huggins' paper with a paper received yesterday from Sir William Ramsay and a paper received from Mr Hardy, all relating to radium, and since it is very desirable that all to these should appear as early as possible, he hopes to be in a position to send in Huggins' paper ready for publication by the end of next week. Dr [Joseph] Larmor and Harrison shall both be out of England by that time, but if Huggins sends the paper as soon as it is ready, the staff will be prepared to proceed with it.
