TitleCopy letter from A H White, to Sir Michael Foster, Secretary, Royal Society
Date7 August 1903
DescriptionRegarding Christy's Uganda maps, the lithographer Manley estimates the three maps will cost about £6 each for a 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' edition of 1500. For colour work the figure is moderate.

Dr Castellani called today and White understood him to enquire if there was time to add another footnote to his first report and another figure or figures. White told him to apply to Foster direct.

Mr Warington's letter is in answer to a batch of letters about belated obituaries, of which his of Sir J Gilbert is one. Meantime Sir J Evans has also had a letter about his Lawes notice. Evans was written to 16 November 1900. Queries if they ought wait until Evans replies.

Sir W Crookes has just left the plate for his radium paper and is anxious the President see it. White thinks it would have to make two collotype plates. Will show it to the collotyper tomorrow but will not hand it over until he has Foster's instructions.
