Date23 October 1903
DescriptionIn reply to the Permanent Secretary's letter of 16 September, Lieutenant Colonel [David] Bruce has now returned from Uganda, and from the report which he gives of the progress of the enquiry, it is obvious that the need for a skilled epidemiologist to take part in the investigation no longer exists. Thanks the Permanent Secretary for the interest he has taken in the matter.
