TitleCopy letter from Joseph Larmor, to Professor William Burnside, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date1 February 1906
DescriptionLarmor asks that Burnside, as Chairman of the Committee, write to Alfred George Greenhill regarding the difficulties raised by the referees. He also encloses Burnside's letter, as his criticisms are fair, and he may wish to send them directly to Greenhill. Larmor describes Greenhill as 'very touchy', and reports that he and [Andrew Russell] Forsyth had been in consultation about the referees.

In a postscript he states that he has sent some Whitehead correspondence to Eliven[?], who is to show it to Burnside. The printing is not expensive, and he assumes the paper may go on, but at his own risk. Anything that needs to be copied, can be done at the Royal Society for him.
