| Description | With further reference to the reproduction of Dyson's spectrum, asks if Dyson has any preference for half-tone or collotype reproduction. Offers Mr Wesley's opinion on the advantages and disadvantages of each method. On Wesley's recommendation the Society has contacted Dent & Company of Clapham who think the half-tone process with very fine screen would be quite suitable. Asks if Dyson wishes for all the blemishes in his negative removed as far as possible, or whether his intention was that the plate should be a facsimile, apart from strengthening the faint lines. |
