TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Henry Selby Hele-Shaw, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date16 April 1907
DescriptionAt the recent meeting of the Soirée Exhibits Committee, Harrison consulted with them about Hele-Shaw's proposed kinematograph illustrations of his demonstration at the Soirée. They have aked Harrison to enquire, given that similar experiments at Alexandra Palace had little success, whether making a kinematigraph show of them is worthwhile. If so, as there is another kinematograph illustration due the same evening, they will need to share one operator and Hele-Shaw's films should be shown by the people with whom they are already in negotiation regarding the earlier exhibition.

With reference to the proposals, the Committee have instructed Harrison, prior to making final arrangements, to satisfy himself that no difficulty will be raised by the Insurance Office regarding the kinematograph exhibition.
