TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir William Crookes, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date30 April 1907
DescriptionHarrison encloses four letters requesting invitations to the Soirée, and notes that they seem proper people to invite for the special purposes given, so are unlikely to set a precedent for future years. He requires Crookes' authority before issuing the cards, so asks that he mark his decision on the letters and return them.

He also notes the desirability of having a Soirée Committee meeting to finalise invitations for the Ladies Soirée as soon as possible following the May Soirée, and asks that Crookes propose a day.
