TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to the Under Secretary of State for India
Date29 May 1907
DescriptionReferring to Sir Charles Lyall's letter of 16 May, Harrison states that instructions have been given to send Proceedings of the Royal Society, formerly presented to Cooper's Hill College, to the India Office until further notice. He had deferred a decision about the Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, a larger publication issued in volumes, until the Under Secretary heard from the Government of India. As they have now received a reply stating the Government of India want to receive both publications, instructions will be given to despatch them.
