TitleCopy letter from Joseph Larmor, to the Secretary, Board of Trade
Date19 July 1907
DescriptionLarmor acknowledges Sir Herbert Jekyll's letter announcing that they propose to hold an International Commission on Electrical Units and Standards in London at the end of October. The Royal Society's Council have adjoined over the summer, but the President has instructed him to state that the Officers will lend such assistance as they are able to the Board of Trade in preliminary arrangements for the meeting.

On application from Richard Tetley Glazebrook, the Council have already expressed willingness to allow sittings of the Commission to occur in the Society's rooms, and have granted authority for a reception of foreign delegates.
