TitleCopy letter from Archibald Geikie, to William Napier Shaw, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date16 September 1907
DescriptionThis may reach Shaw when he is on holiday. Asks for a statement of the Meteorological Antarctic Work. Would like to know how much more material is likely to be sent to the printer. Is anxious to make progress with the publication. Presumes there will be enough meteorological work to make a volume by itself and asks for an estimate of the number of pages. The magnetic and other physical material will probably make a second volume but it is difficult to get any definite forecast of how much printed matter it will make. Queries when the whole of the meteorological papers will be ready to go to the printer.
