In reply to your post card of October 6, the paper by Lord Kelvin on the theory of elective telegraph was not published by the Royal Society. The paper on rapid signalling was published in the Proceedings, Royal Society No 24, price 2/6. The full paper by Fleming Jenkin was published in Phil[osophical] Trans[actions], Royal Society, for 1862, a separate copy of which may be had for2/-.
