TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Arthur Schuster, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date16 December 1910
DescriptionHarrison understands that it was not intended to appoint the Astronomer Royal [Frank Dyson] Chairman of the Solar Physics Committee with the exercise of the vote on the Committee's behalf. Sir Joseph Larmor has remarked that at the meeting in America the Committee itself nominated Professor Newall to exercise the vote, and that they would probably make their own nomination on other occasions.
