TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to The Secretary, The Stationery Office
Date15 May 1911
Description'Adverting to previous correspondence on the subject of an application from the Director of the Hungarian National Museum, Budapest, for copies of the Reports of the Challenger Expedition, I am directed to state that the Challenger Committee of the Royal Society are of opinion that before any decision is taken upon the application, (1) the attention of the Director of the Museum should be called to the fact that the National Academy of Sciences, Budapest is on the original presentation list, and that a complete set of the Reports was sent to that Academy some years ago; (2) he should be asked whether that set of Reports is accessible to members of the Hungarian National Museum.'
