TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Dr E J Allen
Date15 June 1911
Description'I have been going round Burlington House hat in hand and the best success I have had so far is with the Royal Astronimical Society who, if you apply to them, will, I think, agree to lend their meeting room for your annual meeting on the 28th instant. Will you therefore write a line to Mr W Wesley, the Assistant Secretary, and make formal application and give him full particulars of what you want. They have a very limited staff there so you will no doubt arrange to give them as little work as possible in connection with your meeting.
I am sorry that you should be put to this extra trouble, but the loan of our room was arranged by the President.'
