TitleCopy letter from Archibald Geikie to Horace Hart, Oxford
Date11 December 1911
DescriptionThe proofs for the new edition of the Record of the Royal Society which Hart has proposed have been fully considered. The Royal Society think that if Hart could use a different type on A and B that would preferable; but they propose to made use of two types in the rest of the body of the Book.
Harrison instructs not yet to set up more than a page; one half with the larger and one with the small type.
Harrison is sending, by parcel post, the first two chapters of the Record and is hopeful that the Royal Society should be able to supply Hart with the whole "copy" for the book before Christmas.
