TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to The Cambridge University Press
Date11 December 1911
Description' I believe that the Cambridge University Press has charge of a [die] which is used for printing the arms of the Society at the hand of the congratulatory address, etc. I enclose a print from the die to which I referee, so that you may readily [?] it.
I want to know if you can speedily prepare a cliche from this die, one-half or two-thirds the die, for was on a smaller sheet and with a smaller type that that for which the original was made: it is to be used for a form of invitation which will, I believe, be sent to you to print.
Please telegraph tomorrow morning whether you can prepare a smaller die, & if no, how long you will take to make it.'
