DescriptionTheir letter offering temporary honorary membership of the Halcyon Club to ladies accompanying delegates to the forthcoming anniversary celebrations of the Royal Society was considered by the Ladies Committee at their meeting last week, and having regard to the fact that most of the ladies are being offered private hospitality, the Committee thanks them for the offer, but they could not see their way to accept in advance.
