TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Charles Chree, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date23 May 1912
DescriptionThe President has been in communication with Professor Arthur Schuster and Dr William Napier Shaw with a view to arranging a meeting of the Gassiot Committee in June, and as a result of correspondence it appears that Wednesday 12 June suits both men and Sir George Darwin, provided the meeting is held at the Royal Society and not Kew. Notices are therefore proposed to be issued for this date. The principal business appears to be to consider a report on Eskdalemuir, which Chree has no doubt already seen.
