DescriptionThe President has handed Harrison Shaw's letter of 16 May enclosing a copy of the Report of the Eskdalemuir Observatory, and he wishes to say that in connection with the International Association Committee, of which Shaw is a member, the Royal Society have been in communication with Professor Arthur Schuster to arrange the meeting. It has been agreed that the 12 and 13 June should be suggested for the two meetings, provided that the Gassiot meeting is held at the Royal Society and not at Kew. Dr Arthur Schuster is being written to in the same sense regarding the Gassiot Committee.
