TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor [George Ellery] Hale, Foreign Member of the Royal Society, Astrophysical Observatory, Pasadena, California, USA
Date27 September 1912
DescriptionSir Joseph Larmor is voyaging on the sea, and so Harrison is sending a line now. It shall of course be handed to Larmor when he returns, but in the meantime Harrison can do no better than send the enclosed Programme of the ceremonies of last July, containing a complete list of the Institutions and persons that accepted the invitation to take part in the Royal Society's [250th anniversary] celebrations. A good many did not reply and so were not put on the list, these names can be found if he wishes. Trusts he is recovered and will find time to come over.
