TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to J P Ogilvie FCS, 2 St Dunstan's Hill, EC
Date10 December 1912
Description'In answer to your enquiry concerning Edward Charles Howard FRS, I almost think there must be some mistake.
I cannot find any E C Howard in our Lists. There is Edward Howard elected 1799 and F G Howard elected 1808. The former might be your man, though that seems doubtful.
If you could come round we can show you our lists and we could also show you the "certificate" of the Edward Howard mentioned.
It does not look as if we could give you much information here. Do you think the Society of Arts could help you. Regretting I cannot help you more definitely.'
