TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Professor E [Edward] A [Alfred] Minchin FRS
Date14 November 1912
DescriptionHarrison thanks Minchin for his letter and for the trouble he has taken about the drawings sent to him.
Harrison writes that it is clear that direct reproduction of Miss Robertson's drawings by half-toneprocess will not be good enough and discusses alternatives including lithography, collotyoe and having the drawings enlarged by hand. They will try experiments on the two figures Minchin has had drawn.
With regard to Minchin's request for the loan of Miss Robertson's plate which it is not proposed to publish, Harrison consulted Sir John Bradford, and fears there is difficulty is acceding to his request before her figures are published.
