Title Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Prof E W Marchant
Date24 January 1913
Description'Your paper on "An investigation of the magnetic behaviour of iron, etc", has been under consideration by the Committee of Papers, which does not see its way to publishing the full paper in the PHilosophical Transactions; but would be prepared to consider, with a view to publication in the Proceedings, a short paper giving a general account of the nature of your experiment, together with a summary of the conclusions you derive from it, and a note of their relation to the earlier work of Battelli and Magri. If you are wiling to accept with suggestion your full paper can, if you so desire, be returned to you to aid in the preparation of the abstract.'
