TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Messrs Robarts Lubbock & Co
Date11 April 1913
Description'The Executors of the late Lord Lister are proposing to transfer to the Royal Society certain securities in fulfilment of the provisions of his will, under which the Society benefits. The Executors are under on obligation to realise these securities, and the Society accordingly can not do otherwise than accept them; but, with reference to the question of continuing to hold them, the Treasurer of the Society will be much obliged if you can ascertain whether any of these securities are not full paid up, and if so which of them carry any further obligation on the part of the holder. I enclose a list of the securities under reference, which I shall be glad to have returned.'
