1. Dr Waller's paper: Two referees have reported in favour of publication in the Proceedings, but both recommen abridgment. Enclosed is Sir J Bradford's note upon the subject for information.
2. Paper by Prof A W Porter and Dr F W Edridge-Green on Negative after images &c: Dr Rivers, the referee, reports definitely against publication of this paper which is admittely a rejoinder to Burch's paper lately published. The referee says that the authors shown that they have failed to understand Burch's objection. I presume this must be reserved for the Committee.' [no enclosures]
