Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Captain [Henry George] Lyons, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 27 May 1913 |
Description | Lyons' letter to Sir John [Rose] Bradford was handed to on to Professor [Arthur] Schuster, in whose department the question under reference lies, and Harrison has been directed to answer. The apparatus Lyons describes as now on loan to the Science Museum as lent by the Kew Committee is, Harrison thinks, the property of the Royal Society. If any question of returning it arises, the Society should be notified in the first instance. The problem of the future disposition of the apparatus would be more easily solved six months hence when the alterations at Kew Observatory have been completed. Dr [Charles] Chree and Dr [Richard Tetley] Glazebrook concur. Returns the list of apparatus. |
