TitleCopy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Horace Hart
Date29 May 1913
DescriptionThe tables[?] at the upper end was not down to defective lighting but to some curious imperfection in the metal, for the same [?] was obtained when the tables[?] was turned upside down. The tablet cannot be made the frontispiece that would be giving it too much prominence, Geikie would prefer it appearing on page 46, as he indicated. Hart's block for the coat of arms is much better quality. Is sending a copy of the invitation issued with the Royal Society which is printed on page three of the present volume.
