DescriptionThe Council at their next meeting will have to make the award of two Mackinnon Studentships, and since among the candidates there are some whose work is probably well known to Bragg, Professor [Arthur] Schuster would very glad for his opinion upon their relative merits. He thinks he will know about J S Anderson, R T Beatty, J C Chapman and H S Patterson in particular. He will find details of their applications and the work they propose to do on the enclosed proof summary [no enclosures].
