TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to S Chapman
Date4 July 1913
DescriptionHarrison has been authorised to proceed with the printing Chapman's paper on 'The diurnal variations of the earth's magnetism produced by the moon and sun', subject to the addition submitted on 11 June to serve as a footnote. This should be incorporated in the text of the paper and should be so worded as to avoid any reference to personal referees. The criticisms forwarded to him were adopted by a Committee which deals with papers and are quite impersonal. Suggests 'some further explanation of this use of series may be desirable' as a phrase. Returning the paper to be amended.
