TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor [John Stanley] Gardiner, Fellow of the Royal Society, Chairman of the Zoology Committee
Date1 August 1913
DescriptionProfessor Farmer reports in favour of publication of the paper by C F U Meek on 'The ratio between spindle lengths in the spermatocyte metaphases of helix pomatia', but suggests the reference to von Winiwarter's paper might well be added as it is indirectly referred to in the text. Farmer assumes the accuracy of the author's measurements as he has not had the opportunity of investigating them personally. Enquires if the paper may now go forward.

Perhaps he can stir up Shearer to send in his paper on echinoids.
