Explained the difficulty about Professor [Arthur] Schuster and Harrison attending, but the view of the expressed Committee was that it should be summoned.
Sir John [Rose] Bradford telephoned about the letter from the Colonial Office which he says he returned. He instructed that every enquiry should be made, which was done, but no one knows anything about the letter. He is rather worried and he instructed that the matter should be put on the Council agenda. |
