TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to C F Clay, Ave Maria Lane, E.C.
Date31 December 1891
Description'Dear Sir,
In answer to your note of yesterday, the printed list which Harrison & Sons sent you ^was a proof copy^ of the "Catalogue Committee", but of the "presentation list". The words "Catalogue Committee" at the top only indicate that the document was for the use of that Committee. I think you may take the list as being complete and correct. The only point which remains to be settled is, whether both or only one of the Dublin Institutions shall receive a copy. I will send you, shortly, a label to be inserted in the presentation copies.
I am, yours truly,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]
There will be a balance of 19 copies which we shall draw upon from time to time. You can send them here or keep them under your control, whichever you prefer'.
