TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Thomas George Bonney, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date1 February 1892
DescriptionRix is sure he should not bother the Royal Society's Officers about such a small matter, but simply requests that Bonney send the figure quickly, as the copy for Jan 21 has already gone for pages and the copy for the meeting of January 28, at which the paper was read, should soon follow.

He also requests that Bonney instruct the artist to draw the figure a significant degree larger than the block, as you get a much better appearance by reducing a large figure, as any imperfections are obscured or lost, and the lines are finer. Rix explains that the reduction is done by photography.
