TitleCopy letter from A H White, to the Cambridge Engraving Company
Date27 August 1891
DescriptionWhite requests an estimate for preparing for 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society' plates from the enclosed three sheets of photographs and drawings [not included], numbered figures 1 to 26, to illustrate a paper by Dr Frederick Walker Mott on 'Hemisection of the Spinal Cord'. He further explains that the photographs and drawings may be reduced to three quarter size, allowing around six per plate, which would make the total number five plates.

The plates should be of the same description as those that illustrated Dr Haycraft's paper in the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society' which they executed recently. White also notes that the descriptive lettering will not be needed, with nothing to appear except the figure numbers. If their estimate is approved, the author will send negatives and drawings to work from.
