TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to the Rev Edward Burbridge, Backwell Rectory, Bristol
Date29 October 1891
DescriptionRix states that, as far as he is aware, they have no books at the Royal Society which belonged to Archbishop Cramner's Library. He emphasises that their Library Catalogue was written very recently by 'very intelligent men' who took note of autographs and book plates, so any indication of a volume having been owned by Cramner would have been noted. Rix further explains that they unfortunately do not have all of the books originally left to the Society from the Norfolk Library, and in fact only really have the scientific volumes with a few literary curiosities.
