TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society to Professor John Newport Langley FRS
Date18 March 1915
Description'The request was opposed by certain members of Council on the ground that a precisely similar plea of urgency might have been made on behalf of certain periodical publications whose applications had already been postponed to July.
It was finally decided to refer the matter to the Physiological Committee and to ask them to report.
Can I have the paper (Drury's)? It must formally be laid before the Committee.'
